Tossy Garrett, the owner and designer for Storm & Sunrise, offers wax carving classes. 

Classes can run with a minimum of four people, and as many as seven.  Participants learn basic skills of design and wax carving.  At the end of the class, each wax is sent to be cast into the student's own piece of jewelry!

Cost for an 8 hour course:  $85/person.                                       Courses run two ways:  four weeks, with a 2-hour session per week, or an 8-hour day (moderate to long attention spans fit better with this type), generally held on a weekend. 

Carving materials are included, but casting and metal costs are not- these may be as little as $15, but vary greatly depending on how many castings are ordered, and in what metal.

Travel time within one hour of Montpelier, VT is included in the course fee.  Otherwise, travel time will be added to the course fee.
