Storm & Sunrise is a small jewelry business that specializes in working directly with our clients to provide custom jewelry and wedding bands.  Since 2001 our designer and jeweler, Tossy Garrett, has brought her unique artistry and talent to the business.

Tossy's own designs are inspired by antique and traditional jewelry from around the world, natural forms, and a contemporary sensibility.  She has trained in Florence, Italy at the Fuji Studios, and in the States with Kate Wolf, Blaine Lewis, Dan Grandi, and others.  Her travels to Italy, Turkey, Ireland, and India have provided amazing inspirations for her designs.  

Tossy's chosen medium for creating jewelry is wax carving.  A sculptural form is carved out of a dense jeweler's wax and after making a mold the form is cast in a precious metal.  Rings are especially suited to being made with this method because of the sculptural possibilities for including unique stone settings, finger contours, and symbolism.

The name Storm & Sunrise is an expression of the beauty of contrasting elements.  Each makes the other more inspiring, more beautiful; a metaphor well suited for the creative process, as well as a partnership.  Let us illustrate your love with beauty and strength!
